ALEXTAMPING is twenty-three and 1/2 years old!
We are a small family-owned and run business, nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Sonora, California.
We have been in business since July of 1984 when Alex was just six months old.
We personally design and physically manufacture our stamps and accessories and are always blazing new trails to innovation.
We do not accept illustrations from outside artists, as this company is our medium for our own art.
When you call/email/snail mail us... there is no one else you are dealing with... Just US. And we love hearing from you!

Karen Canto Karen has been teaching art and motivating others all over the country since 1984. She does half of the designs for Alextamping, designed and maintains this website, runs the business end of Alextamping, and answers all of the emails, and most of the phone calls... and fills your orders. Karen enjoys writing (poetry and prose), dancing, making jewelry, drawing, quiet time (mostly after a big show), and being with friends. Karen is also a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master (Reiki is a form of holistic healing used to restore health and vitality, similar to the centering and balance gained through martial arts training.). She and best her friend, April Walker, have a Reiki Practice in Sonora. Carlos Canto Carlos is the one you recognize by the hat at the shows... no, he isn't bald under it. He's the one doing our Make-it/Take-its at the shows all over the country, and has created many of the new scenic stamping designs. He has been making our stamps and stamping tools for the past 23+ years. His favorite pasttimes are writing, creating new products/inventions/ideas, and dancing. And he delivers the mail in Soulsbyville, CA as a rural carrier.
Alex Canto Our inspiration! The namesake of our company. His interests include reading, juggling (5 objects), telling jokes, doing computer stuff (see our animated cards)... and dancing (he is a great swing dancer). Alex started high school (after being homeschooled all his life) in January 2000. He attended California State University at Monterey Bay. This photo was taken while home for the summer 28 May 2006. Alex is currently living in San Francisco.

. July 2006 HE'S BACK... In case you don't remember... fall 2004, Alex won a costume contest at CSUMB dressed as Cap'n Jack Sparrow... this is his latest version, taken at our very own Sonora movie theatre. Later the theatre cave him the poster.	July 2006
